Vintage pair of cast iron Civil War soldiers (SOLD)

Offered here is a great set of vintage Civil War Soldier bookends. They are made of cast iron and stand 7 ½” high, weighing three pounds each. They are hand-painted blue for the Union and gray for the Confederacy. Each soldier has his uniform, musket, kepi and canteen.

The paint appears to be original. There is some minor chipping, but this can be expected for their age. This is a fantastic pair of early bookends.
