Unused Fruit Crate label with a Union and Confederate veterans shaking hands (SOLD)

This is a very interesting piece being offered, it is a label for a fruit crate. It has the image of two old Civil War veterans, one Union and one Confederate shaking hands. It measures 9” and has “The Blue and the Gray Brand” in bold red letters, probably dating to the early 20^th century.

Below the veterans is “ORANGE AND GRAPEFRUIT / Milne – O’Berry Packing Co. / Incorporated / St. Petersburg, Fla. / net contents 1 3/5 Bu.”. This label is in unused condition and was found years ago in an old warehouse in Florida. Being stored away, the colors are still very bright, just as when printed. This would really look great if framed.
