Numbered Edition of General Lee's Belt Plate, with COA (SOLD)

This is another nice piece which was part of a large collection I am currently working on. It is a limited edition of General Robert E. Lee’s Dress Sword Belt Plate. Licensed by the Museum of the Confederacy, this and its gold-plated counterpart, are the ONLY reproductions ever made from General Lee's original Belt Plate, which he wore as Commander of the Army of Northern Virginia.

This model is numbered and cast in solid brass and is strictly limited to a run of only 500. The one offered here was acquired in 2011 and is number “58” of the 500 pieces made. It is in beautiful condition and comes with the shown paperwork. When I acquired this piece, it was in this gold colored tin, not sure if it came that way, but I will include it.
