Full-case Ambrotype photograph of a baby boy, with note (SALE)

This is a full-case, sixth plate abrotype image of a baby. During this time period, baby boys and girls were dressed alike, so it is difficult to tell the difference. However, inside the lining of the interior case, there is period writing with "Taken Jan. 28, 1868 by his father". The overall size of the case is 3 1/4" x 3 3/4". It is a cute image and in very nice condition.
