Early 1900 Confederate Battle Flag Lapel Pin

This is another neat little piece being offered, it is a Confederate battle flag lapel pin. It measures 2” x 1” with the paper flag being 1” x ½”. It is still on its original common pin shaft and remains in "out of the box" condition after decades of storage.

The inexpensively made and poorly indexed printing job is reflective of early 1900’s origin and a time when the United Confederate Veterans (U.C.V.) of the South like their Northern counterparts of the G. A. R., made a ready market for such inexpensive patriotic embellishments. They would be worn at meetings, reunions, parades, etc. It is a neat little display item.
