Product Description

This is another grouping from the collection of documents from Captain Robert P. Wilson, Assistant Adjutant General of the 16th New York Infantry and the 6th Corps under General Bartlett. Wilson had an extensive file that he saved from his time in the service. Most of these documents are receipts and dated 1862 and 1863.

There are names of officers in this collection, and I have included their records from the Civil War Database. One is Captain William H. Daniels, he enlisted in the 16th New York Infantry as a corporal as soon as war broke out, on April 18th, 1861. Only a year later he was promoted to Captain and Assistant Quartermaster.

All the documents remain in nice condition. One is a full-size sheet, and the three others are half sheet. Captain Wilson’s records are also included, he had an outstanding record during his service.
