Civil War era whimsical CDV image of a baby and dog

This is another nice piece being offered, it is a 19^th century Civil War era CDV image. It is titled “Good Morning” and shows a small child in a basket being awaken by the family dog.

These whimsical views were popular during the Civil War in an effort to offset the hardships experienced by both civilians and soldiers. It was a way to lighten things up and put a smile on the faces of so many who were depressed with the times.
