Civil War era pewter Tobacco Jar, ca. 1835 – 1860

This is another nice piece being offered, it is a mid-19^th century pewter Tobacco Tin. It measures 6 ½” to the top of the finial and has a diameter of 3 ½”. It has a gothic arch design, which might be to imitate tobacco leaves. It is in very nice condition, only showing signs of normal use.
