1/6 Plate Ambrotype of little girl (SALE)

This is a sixth plate ambrotype in a half case of a little girl, circa 1860's. It measures approximately 3 1/4" x 3 3/4". The girl appears to be about two years old and is in a plaid sleeveless dress and wearing a necklace. She is very cute and is looking directly into the camera. This was a difficult task for the photographer to have a young child remain motionless for a short period of time while the photograph is being exposed. Overall a nice and desirable image.
